Lecutre
At irregular intervals, we invite an international researcher to give an evening lecture on a topic from the broad field of agrarian studies. In addition, our guest gives a workshop in a smaller setting for a more detailed discussion on texts. So far, we have had 2 lectures and a 3rd one is currently being planned.
Activities (Museum)
Apart from our regular meetings and the irregular lectures, we also try
to undertake other joint activities, such as museum visits.
On Monday, 20 th May 2019, the Agrarian Studies Group visited the Volkskundemuseum Wien through Brigitta Schmidt-Lauber. The group was given an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition " RETROPIA. Sprechen über Sehnsuchstbilder vom Land".
